40+ years later Healey Studio creates a new mixed media window series. Antique handblown stained glass + hand beveled optical glass + hand formed non-ferrus metals and folded and patinated mesh come together to create imagery of the future.

The Miniatures and More Exhibition at the Albuquerque Museum has now opened. Please take the time to see the two glass sculptures and the first peice of the new photographic sculptural relief series by John Healey and Ema Tanigaki
Abstration One is a photographic print captured on 4 x 5 film positive material, digitally remastered to remove film grain. The image is printed on Pearlescent Canvas and mounted to a solid aluminum panel. The canvas and aluminum sandwich is then rolled and float mounted to a mirror finish stainless steel panel.
Miniatures and More show 2015 - new sculpture and photography by John Healey
John Healey has been invited to submit two sculptures to the Albuquerque Museum’s Miniatures part of their Miniatures and More fundraiser and also a photographic installation to the More part. This event occurs in late October. The exhibition will be up through December 2015. . These works will be available for sale through an auction process during the fundraising gala. Please plan to attend for the purpose of supporting fine art in Albuquerque. We will post more information as it becomes available

Miniatures and More show 2014 and Collectors' Dinner - all works by John Healey and Ema Tanigaki are sold
The Miniatures and More show has closed for 2014 and the Collectors' Dinner has passed. We are please to say that all of our pieces that were exhibited have sold.
John and Ema would like to thank the generous patrons of the arts who purchased our works that also benefit the Albuquerque Museum of History and Art. We enjoyed meeting you and hope to see you at future events.
As the year winds down we are ramping up for the coming year. We would like to wish all our friends a happy holidays, whichever they may be. We are planning on spending the quiet year end time to concentrate on creating new and exciting work for 2015.

Ema is making the final pieces of her solid gold crochet jewlery for the Collectors' Dinner at the Albuquerque Art Museum, October 24 2014. (see previous news release) So to mark this occasion we have put the only pieces of solid gold crochet jewelry available from the original series.

Photography Exhibition in Santa Fe New Mexico
Three of John Healey's New Aerial Photographs are to be displayed at a Curated Exhibition to be held at The Marion Center for Photographic Arts at the Santa Fe University of Art & Design (SFUAD). The exhibition is titled, A Road to Nowhere: Southwest Sojourns
The exhibition will be up the month of June and July 2014. Opening Reception is on May 30 from 5-7 PM. We hope to see you there.
The selected images to be displayed in this exhibition are all very recent, taken in March 2014. We hope you will take the time to see these exciting new images. The photography in this exhibition will be available for sale with part of the proceeds to benefit CENTER (a 501C3 organization; honors, supports, & provides opportunity for gifted and committed photographers) If you enjoy this exhibition please consider showing your support.
